This is just a brief update on how things are going. Robin had abdominal surgery yesterday to remove a section of his bowel. The surgery went well, they were able to remove the primary tumour and rejoin his bowel so that a stoma was not required. They did find more spots of cancer throughout his abdominal cavity (which are not visible on CT cans) but this was not unexpected, as it had obviously already metastasised to the liver. He had a reasonably good night as his pain is now better managed with two pain pumps, allowing him to get some sleep.
We value your ongoing prayers for his recovery from surgery and that the immunotherapy treatment would be able to resumed as soon as possible.
